LABEL

Guilty Guitars Records (the label) was originally established in 2005
solely to release Guilty Guitars (the band) records.

After a hiatus following the breakup of the eponymous band Guilty Guitars in 2012, the decision was made in 2023 to continue the label following the guiding principles:
– do it for the love of it
– no commercial interests
– work only with good people of integrity
– don’t give a damn about genres.

With its slogan
“There’s no such thing as to ‘think outside the box’ – when there’s no box”
the label expresses to not to commit itself to any particular musical style.
Instead, it regards pigeonholing as an unfortunate invention of marketing and
as such a limitation on free artistic expression and development.

Guilty Guitars Records’ digital distribution partner is Zebralution, Berlin.
Physical distribution is handled via mail order directly through the label.
